Aero M/c Jackets in battered tan?

Just wondering if anybody has a m/c jacket by Aero in battered tan. By m/c I mean any of their m/c jackets, but preferably a double breasted one like j106 - if so please post a photo!

To each his own as they say. The Bootlegger was a great gateway cross-zip jacket for me, since it didn’t have all the zip and snaps of a full on M/C jacket but still captured some of the style. My Cordovan Bootlegger has gotten more compliments from strangers and friends alike than all of my other jackets put together

In my opinion that is all of the character of a m/c jacket. So the bootlegger just has less character IMO. I've seen a cordovan j106 and it looks great.

To each his own as they say. The Bootlegger was a great gateway cross-zip jacket for me, since it didn’t have all the zip and snaps of a full on M/C jacket but still captured some of the style. It was the same for me.
At the time i ordered my Bootleggers i wanted a cross zip jacket, but didn't want too much bling and didn't care for belts, studs etc. IMO the J-24 type jacket instantly screams MC jacket, whereas the Bootlegger is an old Aviator style jacket and much easier to wear.
I also like the historical evolution, and appreciate the more sober design.

My next jacket was a fully blinged up Chevalier, but i honestly doubt i would have bought it had i not opened that door with the bootlegger.

That looks great. I've long been a fan of the Bootlegger; I like the crossover appeal of the design as one of the early styles that would have been worn by both aviators and motorcyclists. Mine is still probably the most 'flexible' jacket I own, in that it works with the widest range of outfits.

This battered tan would look fantastic on pretty much any jacket (I'm particularly seeing it in an Aero Royale), but would work particularly well on a motorcycle jacket. For me, I think it would look best on perhaps the Elvis or the King of the Road, as those have slightly less busy designs, all the better to show off the hide.

Also would work very well on the Original 59er Highwayman, though of course black and midnight blue would be historically far more correct for that model.

Bootlegger is one of the most attractive jackets to me, esp. for its smart, neat and historically correct design in its every detail. I love so much its style from 20s-30s. I fully agree with Carlos' point of view about Bootlegger and am sure it's "must have"- jacket.

I see the appeal - I am really not a fan of cross zip leather jackets - especially those black bike jackets with all the pockets and belts and other busy details - but the Bootlegger looks sleek, with just enough swagger and really reminds me of period jackets of the 1930's. It's the one cross zip jacket I'd consider buying.

Not long ago, I saw an Aero MC jacket in brown (or maybe Cordovan) but for the life of me, I can't recall where... I think it might've been some Japanese auction. Can't find it anymore.

Here's my cafe racer jacket in battered tan:









I had people say very nice things about this jacket, despite the fact that I feel it is a style suited to men who carry no extra weight at all in the gut (I have a slight bulge, but it's going) and men who are no older than about 25 (I am 39) unless they have a bike (I fondly think that the compliments are correct and I am wrong). The colour is very distinctive- if I had made my choice differently, I'd have got an LHB in battered tan and chosen the cafe racer with an extra inch or two on the length (and a size up) in tumbled cordovan...
