Just picked this up from the finds and deals thread ....

Beautiful jacket and exactly as described - TBH the shearling looks as if it has been used only a handful of times.

It is a roomy 44" and even though the back measures 26.5" it sits a fraction higher with the shearling lining - I've a long torso plus it seems am really a 42" so overall it is a little big and I need a longer than standard length back.

So up for sale here first as it is so nice - before going back on eBay.

Armpit to Armpit 25.5"
Shoulder to Shoulder Seem 21"
Back from Bottom of Collar 26.5"
Sleeve Armpit to Cuff 17"
Sleeve Shoulder to Cuff 25"

I paid £325.00 plus postage

Asking £275.00 plus £10 UK postage
Paypal F&F or 3% extra for costs

Can't be fairer - excellent price for a quick turnaround

Possibly open to trade for Lewis Leathers

Excellent jacket, new condition, the price is sweet. If he is suitable for someone, this is a good deal.

I can't emphasise how supple and soft the horsehide is ...... was quite a shock as I expected it to be very stiff

I've updated the add - would possibly trade for Lewis Leathers black jacket

This will be put to good use as a fall/winter work or riding jacket.i've never owned a blue jacket but as far as I'm concerned it's close enough or as close to a black as you will get.i always liked as far as appearance those old Chicago PD jackets.just the huge brass buttons make them look too "uniform" imho.this jacket will handle the NYC rain and sleet no problem I'd sy.
