Hey guys,

I just got this jacket from Aero. It looks so beautyful. What do you think about the fit? My problem is: in my opinion the fit is right but it feels one number to small. I can wear a shirt under it but not a pullover. Does this type of jacket widens a little bit with wear? Maybe because of the shearling?

At the moment I‘m thinking of sending it back and order another one in 44. Maybe even a B6 then.

Thank you. I had feared that. Then I'll probably send the jacket back. It's annoying because of Brexit. If someone from Germany or the EU is reading along: I would sell the jacket for 950 euros.

Looks perfect to me. That's is exactly how I would want it to fit. I avoid these jackets b/c they are entirely too warm. I spend as little time as possible in temps where something like this is required. I envision myself melting while driving to work. All that is to say how much do you actually need to put under it to be warm? Seems like anything more than a t-shirt or button down and you'd dry up like a raisin.

surprisingly the jacket is not that warm at all. It's also pretty light. The sleeves are quite narrow - also under the armpits. In the picture I am wearing an 8oz flannel shirt under the jacket.

The D-1 is a quite boxy jacket and is designed not to be trim on the body. If more of a fitted look is what your after you would be better off with a B-6

Gotta be careful with these being too large or else one can run into the dreaded Michelin Man look. @MrProper is very good at keeping his sheepskins trim, but I am not sure if he can fit a sweater underneath.
I'm standing here right now at -1 C and waiting for the train for what feels like an eternity. Winter in Vienna and the public transport collapse ;)
Wear my Irvin, underneath a T-shirt and a sweater. Wonderfully warm and I did not want to be dressed cooler.
My jackets are tight, but a sweater still fits underneath.

At least in the pictures it does not look too tight. Maybe a little short. But overall, I would hope that mine would look the same.

The thick fur around the armhole/shoulder makes shearling jackets feel small and restrictive. Maybe try a pattern with bigger shoulders, it would feel better.
I think shearlings / wool provide more comfortable warmth than say down or primaloft, the comfortable temp range is much wider than the other materials so there is no need to constantly take off and put on the jacket.

Thanks to all. Unfortunately, the problem is also that I have a damaged shoulder and need a jacket that is easy to put on. I'll think about it again.

Looks great in the photos, I’ve got a D-1 which will take a shirt & medium thickness sweater without issue. Bit of a balancing act feeling comfortable but not looking like a sack of potatoes.

It looks great, but I can easily see it FEELING restrictive. My B-3 is pretty big around the chest too but I couldn´t go even a hair tighter. Looks aside, the jacket is borderline short too. You will not want a shearling that lets in the cold above the trousers.
