Now I'm confused, are you going for a Teamster or a Premier Work Coat? I was under the impression they were VERY different fits and something along the lines of the PHB would be a better fit jacket for sizing the Work Coat?

A Teamster fit jacket. At least that's what I'm expecting!

The other way around, you mean. The natural has a more robust top coat, as far as I'm aware. That said, the Shank Tan smelled amazing:

My understanding was that the Shank Tan was a light colored finished leather. I figure that would show dirt and grime. The Natural on the other hand has the qualities that were extolled at the beginning of the Vegi-tanned full grain craze- that it evolves.

Sounds like those Greek grapes as as sour as I remember.

I have a Horween Chromexel belt from Rancourt in natural leather I wear with jeans and it's awesome, it does age and patina quickly and very uniquely. It's also much softer than the color 8 and black chromexel belt I have from Rancourt, not sure why that is. I don't think I would want it in a full jacket though. I do think it would appear pretty dirty very fast.

Here's what my natural wallet looks like from Mitchell Leather's, it did darken quite a bit. New it appeared completely natural, now it's definitely brown:

Quite the transformation! Mitchell make beautiful stuff - not cheap, but lovely. I have one of these money-clip wallets in burgundy Horween CCXL steer (matches my Bootlegger exactly, colour wise - though the latter is CXL FQHH). It would be interesting to se one of these with a coin-pouch on one side; I think that could be a seller.

I will say, i found myself constantly debating whether or not to wear the Campus when I had it due to the color. BUT I only sold it becuase of the length. The color can look bright as a mug to say the least, but I think it's incredibly versatile (for example, wearable with both brown and black shoes). Also, from the looks of it (and I would be very interested to hear from Carrie or Holly/Denny on this) it may be less vulnerable to staining than the Campus. The hide used on the Campus is like a sponge. Every single drop of rain will immediately absorb and leave a mark (or at least for a good while until the hide patinas to a "slick"). The natura Vincenza by contrast appears to be more finished. Would love to see how this hide responds to rain

And here's a well broken in Campus jacket from Christophe Loiron's blog.

I'm of the school that believe leather jackets look better when heavily abused. Natural hides do darken, age well, and get a serious amount of patina, but it's become a bit of a cliché in the raw denim crowd.

Even though it does not look as stained as I would have imagined, the Campus jacket in the post above does look stained and dirty to me. I think we can agree on calling the darkened leather patina, but these dark/blackish stains on sleeves and near the buttons? That looks stained to me, in a bad way, in a "boy, the owner of this jacket could use a new jacket "-way.
