Aero Leather Indian Ranger

This jacket is very special to me.
I originally got into leather jackets in the first place because my father was a biker, and he passed on his crosszip jacket to me. Looking at it now it's just a ratty old chrome tanned crosszip probably bought from some random shop, but when he gave it to me I thought I was the coolest kid ever. I wore it from when I was in middle school all the way until I rode motorcycles myself, so a good six years or so.
I thought at this point it would be better to retire it to preserve whatever life it has left, so I went ahead to Galashiels and got measured for an Indian Ranger in Blackened Brown Vicenza.

I received it in the post yesterday and all I can say is "Oh my god." This jacket is absolutely perfect in every way, so without further ado, here are some pictures.

IR is a particularly cool jacket, my definite fav from Aero's MC range and yours is one of the nicest I have seen on this forum. It is absolutely perfect. Gotta add it's noticeably well made, too. Not that Aero jackets aren't of course but this one stands out. IMO you couldn't have bought a nicer jacket, no matter how much (more) you spent.

And yep, you're slayin' it, man. They nailed the length, too. Perfect for the look you're going for and it'd be a shame if it was covering that belt.

Mine was made by the amazing Paula. According to their most recent Instagram post, she's responsible for most of their motorcycle jackets. I asked for the back length specifically, as in my mind, IR's shouldn't be too low. I know in that picture of James Dean it looks long, but it's only because his pants were so high rise. I think I nailed that length on the head. The belt is great! It's a Jack Daniels Enamel belt I found in a thrift shop here. Slightly too large but it's awesome nontheless

And thank you for the compliments on the hair, just got it done a couple days ago.

How about those boots are they the Lofgrens? I can’t remember the official title something like White Shadow or something like that? The White scuff-off? Be curious to see how those look after several months of wear. Also great jacket!

Honestly, Dean's IR is a disaster. Doesn't look good, fits even worse. You did good to stray away from that bit of inspo.

Yeah they are! According to Neil of Standard and Strange these boots have a bit of a defect though where the heal counter comes off. Lofgren is investigating this currently and maybe will send out replacements.
