Aero Leather alpaca jacket lining

Has anyone here put a tartan over the alpaca? I've read through some old threads and saw that it has been done. I want the warmth of the tartan, but love some of the striking tartan designs on offer. The jacket im looking at comes standard with alpaca, might throw a tartan on top?

The brown Alpaca is a thin lining. I don't find it to be a particularly warm lining. It is OK in temps above freezing (32F).

Thanks mate, I meant to write, I want the warmth of alpaca with the pizazz of the tartan!
