Offering for sale my beloved "size 42" Aero J106, lovingly crafted by Julie Letch in "mid-weight" FQHH. This is a wonderful, simplified example of the timeless D-pocket/J106 pattern, in this case with a striking blue tartan body lining and black cotton drill in the sleeves. Has a single point V yoke on upper back that looks excellent on this style of jacket.

I would like to emphasize that this jacket is black Teacore Front Quarter Horse Hide, and as such, bits of the brown under-tone is visible. This will continue to increase at the jacket is worn. The leather on this jacket smells incredible - such a deep and rich aroma that should be made into a fine cologne. I estimate the weight around 6 lbs, so a very wearable, versatile jacket. This is some of the most flexible, easily broken in FQHH I have encountered. Period correct all Talon Brass zippers and brass hardware that function great. Please study all photos carefully.

Here are the dimensions:
Shoulders - 19"
Pit to Pit - 23"
Sleeve - around the sleeve 27.5", straight down 26.25"
Torso (apx) - 20"
Back - 25.5"

It really fits closer to a 44L.

I have owned this jacket for 1.5 years and I purchased off FL back around May 2016. For now, I'll keep it only on FL. Here is the original FL ad I purchased this jacket off of:
http://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/aero-leather-j106-fqhh-horsehide-size-42.86259/

Asking $675; + $20 Shipping CONUS, $40 for Canada/HI/AK

Going to be a little hard to let this one go, but I have an order about to be placed, so this one gets to find a new home. Come make it yours! :)

Ok so a couple more details I should have added to the ad itself:
  • No inside pockets
  • apx 3.5 oz horsehide
  • Worn apx 2-3 times a week Fall/Winter/Spring
  • No epaulets on this jacket (were asked to be left off when jacket was constructed)
  • No storm cuffs in the sleeves

Ending this sale, and removed from ebay too. Just like it too much, we've spent some quality time together over the past day, and I've decided to keep this one around. Thanks for your interest.

I’ve had this happen a few times, you start desribing the jacket in the listing and you realise how nice it really is and get sellers remorse before its even sold lol

One of the bits of advice given for editing one's wardrobe is to 'go shopping' in one's closet, and whether or not you'd take something up to the register or place it back on the rack can help determine if it's a keeper or not.

In other words, AeroFan just beat the rest of us to snagging this awesome jacket! :)
