Wow, wonderful jacket. Fit is perfect! Front, back, side, etc, all nicely done. From the look of the picture, I would have thought that it's Vicenza leather. If I have to nit pick, I'd prefer the sleeves a 1.5cm longer, but it's perfect as it is now. A keeper!

Colour? Simply black.
It just happens to be a stunning black hide. Perfectly malleable, perfectly weighted, wonderfully grained.
I'm approximately 6' 2" & have a chest around 43", but practically always wear a sized 42 jacket.
Weight.... hmmm more that it should be :-(
That is such freakin awesome looking leather. PLEASE give me shoulder to shoulder measure, pit to pit. How many ounces is that leather CXL??? I cannot get over how good looking that jacket/leather is!!!!!

Cracking looking jacket; that's exactly hoew they should be. Length is good too. I believe all the originals were cut slightly longer than other jackets of the period, presumably from their racing pedigree (crouching over a bike makes the jacket ride up, needs to be longer to keep you covered).

IMO, the cafe racer style always looks best in this configuration - no handwarmers / 2 chest pockets.

Obviously you did quite well with the fit, and the BR looks great. I have two size 42 Sheenes with 2" added to the waist of both, and have wondered how a size 44 Board Racer with 27.5" sleeves and back might fit me?

It’s interesting, I was thinking something similar about the sleeve length too. Then I realised that they’re just fine. This style has the sleeves cut very slim. If I undo the zips, they fall another inch or so to just above my thumb. They’re only riding near the wrist due to the zips being done up. I guess this way it’s easy enough to regulate the length via the zips (open vs closed).

I think you’d be pleasantly surprised. I also have 2 Sheene’s at present & have sold another one on. This style is just such a different cut. There’s no need to add anything to the body to get a comfortable fit. And the final product is still slim fitting.
just size up & double check the other measurements (shoulder, p2p etc). I think you’d love it.

The requested measurements were;
Shoulder 19”
P2P 23”
Sleeve 26”
Back 27”
As for the leather specs, only Holly / Aero could really comment. It’s certainly their CXLFQHH product, just MUCH more fun to wear.
I really think it should be added as an option. Honestly, ready to wear right out of the box & so bloody comfortable. Now when was the last time someone said that about CXLFQHH?

I suspect we are built along similar lines, more stick shaped than V shaped. I would likely request:

Shoulder 19”
P2P 23.5”
Sleeve 27.5”
Back 27”
