Aero Hookless - solid brass or?..

I’m assuming Aero uses Japanese made Talon hardware, I wasn’t aware repro Talon’s were still made in the USA?

I took a look at a Talon on one of my Aero jackets, coppery colour underneath and different back marking.

I join this thread.
I can still choose: nickel or brass? I ordered nickel, but I'm not sure if brass would fit better.
What is your opinion?

If it's a military jacket and I weant itg to be 'accurate' , I go with asclose to the "correct" zip as possible - including colour. Otherwise, it's purely aesthetics. I've had all sorts on my Aeros; I especially love the shiny brass on my black Highwayman. I plan to go with shiny brass on an MC jacket at some point - nice change from the (these days) more commonly seen chrome.

Thanks for the opinions.
Holly from Aero said "both nickel and brass were used by various makers, which is why we use them". So both variants would be correct. I have now stuck to my original choice (nickel) because I have it on one of my brown jackets and I really like it. With black, I would tend to brass, unless it was made to be antique. Thanks again.
