Nice, but $2000...? Seems that Sun Set may well sunset soon with little fanfare...
lol your name is influencing your post too much. You do realize that Freewheelers jackets sell extremely well, right? They are also insanely well made and people are willing to pay the price. My Freewheelers jacket was well worth what I paid for it.

I love the Sunset. It's probably my favorite deerskin jacket design that I have seen.

The Hooch Hauler is also great. It's probably the Aero model I would get if I bought one.

They are both influenced by past designs so I really don't think anyone is borrowing from each other.

First post. Hello everyone. I am obsessed with the Freewheelers jackets. I tried contacting them but have not heard from them yet. If anyone has dealt with them, please shoot me an email. I would really appreciate some advice about ordering from them.
I have ordered from Mirror Ball and Genco Clothing with no issue whatsoever. I recommend both of them after having purchased from them multiple times each.

A bit off topic. I went out for a night ride, a quick short one. Some jerk decided to cut me off, and I had to lay down the bike. Luckily, I was wearing my Taubers horsehide jacket (at least I think it is a Taubers based on what I learned from Terry mitchel's videos). The jacket is scratched, but I am mostly fine.

It pays off to buy and wear a good quality jackets.

The bike is a mess. I am in pain but it is mostly because of the adrenaline wearing off. Overall, I was very lucky. Thank you for asking.
Bike can be fixed. Glad to hear you're alright. I had a similar experience in my 20's but no jacket so I had to ride home with bent bars and a left arm that looked like raw ground beef. Damn straight a good jacket pays dividends.
