Just purchased my Aero Leather Highwayman after been to the shop 4 times trying it out.. It was originally ordered to a customer who wasn`t satiesfied with the fit. It felt perfect for me, so his loss - my gain..
It says limited edition, but I am not sure what year it was made? It`s new and never worn before so I need to break it in.

Given the label, and that this is, to the best of my knowledge, Aero's top selling model, I'd say a guess of 2003 wouldn't be far off. Worth dropping them a line and asking, though; with this being a limited edition, they must have kept records of how many they'd made and when in order to ensure they didn't overshoot the magic 500.

Would that be the version with the shoulder gussets? I remember an eBay listing of one such HWM with gussets, that the seller claimed was a limited edition.

I'm sure Aero were selling these on their site as recently as maybe a couple of years ago. I suppose once the 500th was made they stopped selling it. My guess is 2 years old max.

I remember the limited edition in black with red lining being available in 2009/2010.

Actually, I vaguely recollect seeing something like that back then, yes.... Sometime before the short-lived Aero Ace Cafe jackets were up there? (They were sold both direct and through the Ace, during the time when Lewis Leathers were non-operational, before Derek bought them over and got them back on the go and they returned to the Ace).
