Aero Highwayman fit pic and 1st post

Longtime watcher of the forum, so I'm pleased to present my fit pic featuring a Brown CXL FQHH Highwayman I purchased secondhand. With a 40" chest and 29" waist I went with size 38, however it's the slimmest I've ever seen at 21.25" p2p.

Upon arrival I was worried the upper chest was too tight, but I think it's partly due to the substantial hide and narrow cut shoulders. The jacket was shipped from Japan to my home in Pennsylvania and it appears the previous owner(s) took great care of it. Aero has confirmed the jacket is 10-15 years old and was made by the famed Julie Leitch. They say I've got myself a nice one and I must humbly agree. What do you guys think?

Thanks,

Andrew

I thinks it looks good on you and the previous owner did already the hard work for you ;)

Yes I agree that 21.25” of p2p is very trim for this cut. I’m selling a size 34 right now which is 22” p2p! lol

Thank you and you're right that it fits more like a 34. The shoulders are 17.7!

17.7" shoulder width in a size 38 isnt narrow by Aero standards. Their slimmer cuts like the Board Racer have that in size 42.. Anyway, shoulder width looks just right on your jacket in the fit pictures. Overall a very good fitting jacket and the fqhh on it is beautiful! Congratulations and wear it in good health!

Perfect fit and beautifully broken in jacket! I agree to others that it doesn't look boxy what I also prefer.

Thanks for the positive comments on the jacket. TFL was the main source for advice on style and fit measurements, so I'm a lucky beneficiary of everyone's work. Loving the jacket.

The more I wear my Highwayman, the more I like it. The fit is perfect... the un-zipped spread shows me it isn't too tight. Congrats!

Pretty darn nice fit for a Highwayman. About as good as i’ve seen around here.
Great hide and color.
I’d wear the hell out of it!
