This jacket is about 5 yrs old and absolutely gorgeous.
I'm just not into shorter jackets any more.
Here are the specifics:
- Brown FQHH completely broken in
- One piece back
- Common Riding worsted wool lining (from Locharran) with brown courderoy strip at bottom
- Exterior ball and chain zip chest pocket on right side
- Interior snap close gun pocket on left side
- All pockets lined in brown courderoy
- Sleeves are lined with brown cotton drill
The only modification I made is to cut the inner storm cuffs out of the sleeves; they were just too restrictive (don't worry, I did a pretty good job if I may say)
The horsehide is typical of Aero; thick, but supple when wearing; some parts are smooth, some are grainy.
No gouges or cut marks, but lots of nice patina with darker and lighter areas all over.
I'm 5'7", 160 lbs and it's a perfect fit with the waist straps half way cinched in.
MEASUREMENTS:
- Back length (collar seam to hem): 21"
- Sleeve length: 23"
- Shoulders: 20"
- Pit to Pit: 22.5"
- Waist Band width (un-cinched): 20.5"
