Haha, I didn't know! But it makes sense...everything about this jacket - pattern, hide, size - seems to match your preferences. Or maybe not, if you sold it (twice?!).

Yes I did. Best hide Aero ever sent me, hands down. I sold it to Aerofan, bought it back and then sold it to hh. It’s hard to make sense of. It’s a great jacket though, no question about it.

^^ Yep - very familiar. But I'm pretty "over" half-belts in general, so it goes to another. It's a beast, for sure.

Great looking jacket!

Just curious, is there a marked size on it?

Also, did you measure the hem with the belts fully loosened?
Size 40 fits like 42 or trim 44, button hem will be same with or without buckled.

Having perused this forum for some time I’ve developed a wish that I was ton312’s size so I could buy his cast offs. This is no exception. Crazy amazing. The jacket seems to fit you like a glove too, a really heavy, beautiful glove.
I’ve had the exact same thought myself many times, i’m just a hair larger than him although not nearly as muscular. On the other hand this has probably saved me a couple grand by now because otherwise I would’ve bought everything he ever put up for sale!

I am on a run. This makes number three of the jackets I have hanging on my jacket rack that passed through ton's hands, although this is the first commissioned by the master. I am lighter framed and tend to wear my jackets looser than ton does and this one will be on the larger side for me with should work fine for such a heavy weighted beast. maybe I drop in on Stu and see if he is up to going boar hunting with wooden lances if they still got any wild bores in New York

I think it’ll fit you perfectly Jon. It was a trim fit for me. I’m eager to hear your thoughts!

I was thinking you may be all set for jousting if you get tired of boar hunting. Sooo many uses for such a nice jacket.

To the buyer congrats! If by chance it doesn’t fit or you decide to move this jacket along I’ll be here waiting......impatiently. I mean patiently.
