These longer jackets just don't get the luurrvv they deserve. I'll take one of my Stockmans over a short jacket any day.

I for one am quite happy with the relative lack of "luurrvv" compared to the more popular shorter and slimmer styles - I was able to pick up my 'as new' HH Cheyenne on the ebay for a song. If I recall, there was only one other bidder who dropped out after his opening bid. Definitely a buyers market for this style when shopping for used.

Hello folks.

Its good to be back after having been absent for several years.

Two points:

1) I have an Aero goatskin A-2, which is 5-10 years old and has Indian goatskin. Despite vigorous use, it remains in excellent condition.
2) I have an Aero horsehide Barnstormer. I would second the suggestion that people purchase that.

huh? Purchase a Barnstormer over a Cheyenne or HH over goat?

I'm pretty slim and really like the fit of my 30's halfbelt.

I always wanted a longer leather coat. My first attempt was the Cheyenne and it was a disaster. It fit like a sack on me and I ended up selling it. Then I ordered a longer Stuart, but it still fit very big on me.

I talked to Carrie at Insurrection and ended up getting a Stockman. It fits so nice! My 30's HB is a 38 and she sized me in a 34 Stockman. So, I think that even if you're a slim guy, you can get one of the longer coats to fit you. You just need proper sizing. FWIW, Amanda at Aero sized me in a 40 in a Cheyenne after I gave her my sizing information.
