Hey Loungers! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've gotten a lot of good advice from you guys over the years - thanks for that!

I recently purchased my first Aero Jacket, a Bootlegger in Battered Tan Horsehide. I'm already hooked and thinking of a next purchase. I feel like the Battered Tan doesn't get a whole lot of coverage around here, so I thought showing off some pics could help people considering it. It has so much character and really changes depending on the lighting it's in. I love the texture! It looks almost marbled sometimes. New favorite jacket!

Hey Nachtengel that is a GOOD looking jacket. I really love your leather and the coloring. I have/wear an Aero bootlegger too and love it. Ready for bootlegger season to start and with football underway it won't be long. Have thought about buying another but I have the one I love so I really can't think of anything to buy in
jackets. That's why I m on the boot side too, I can find things to buy there. Welcome to the lounge and congrats on your purchase.

Wow, this leather looks stunningly beautiful, how did I miss this for so long? Maybe you should do the pictures for Aeros website, because this looks great and it never caught my eye on their website. :D

Did you alter the pictures or is this true light? How thick does it feel? Are you by any chance from around Hannover? I'd love to have a look at this in person!

Thanks for all the great feedback guys! It's definitely a stunner. Can't wait for the weather to get a little cooler so I can start breaking it in! Looking forward to seeing how well it ages.

Hahaha thank you! I only brightened up the photos a bit as they were a tad dark, and caught it in some great lighting! Can't take credit for the wonderful work Aero did on this!

As far as thickness - I think mid weight is a great way to describe it. It's heavy and stiff as any Aero horsehide is going to be, but it's definitely not as thick and stiff as my friend's CXL Cafe Racer - I tried that on and it felt almost like a straight jacket. This one has a little flex to it that makes it a tad easier to wear out of the box. And unfortunately I'm in the Bay Area in California!

Incredible jacket! Never seen a battered Tan FQHH up close & personal like that. Darn it anyway!! I now seem to "need" a Battered tan bootlegger, maybe next year.
As already mentioned, excellent photography there, and welcome officially to FL! :) May your jacket collection continue to grow on account of our enabling!
