And for comparison, the Cafe Racer.

Wow!! Guppy, both jackets look incredibly good! From my amateurs point of you a perfect fit! Especially the arm length is to the point at both jackets.

Looking at your back I would even say the BR fits slightly better but this is comparing super great with great :D

Now you just need to post the measurements for both jackets and the magic conversion formula for everyone who owns one or the other jacket is there :)

@Guppy , the BR fits you exceptionally well and that's not an easy thing to accomplish. Same as the CR, it's perfect, if I am to be asked. Wear on it is great, too.

Those are both sweet! You can definitely see the subtle differences in the patterns in your photos. Two very nice CR's man!

I’m the ultimate flip flopper, can’t decide which one I like better. One thing for certain the previous owner of that BR did a text book job of breaking it in, that’s the condition I hope to get my CR to someday. God give me patience!

I totally thought you were wearing camo plusfours at first!;)
Both look great! I prefer the BR for its simplicity from the back. If they are just for off-bike that would be the one I'd pick. These styles look so great on you guys. I often comb through the classifieds and ebay looking at all the CRs, but just can't see myself in a mandarin collar.

I asked my photographer, and she says between the two she prefers the Board Racer, because of how the leather broke in, and she doesn't like the zipper pulls on the chest pockets of the Cafe Racer.

She also may have mentioned something about wanting a leather jacket now, so I think we're in trouble.

Bothy are fantastic looking jackets. It will be interesing to see how the BR breaks in but at the current time I imagine the CR is the more comfortable to wear of the two jackets. I also wear a size 42 CR (Sheene) with a couple of inches added to the circunference of the waist but am certain I would need to size up to a 44 if I were to buy a BR. If I were to go with a BR, think I might be able to wear a stock size 44 as lomg as the sleeves were 27". Anyhow Guppy you done good!

The Board Racer is already well broken in! Much more so than the Cafe Racer. I do think the CR is a bit more comfortable, as it has more room in the shoulders, and as it breaks in too, I think it will be the more wearable of the two jackets. But I really like both, and don't plan on parting with either of them any time soon! My Sheene is a 44, and I think it fits me very well, also. Being heavy steer, I think it helped to go a size up.

I need clones to wear all these jackets I have...
