I love Aero's steer, and am intrigued by what little pics I've been able to find (not much) of their battered steer.

Anybody have a good pic of it, or know how it compares to either Aero's battered horse or tumbled FQHH?

Racer,

That is beautiful! I'm thinking of a teamster so it's nice to see the buttons with it. I am a big fan of your Sheene and now have one myself in seal Vicenza.

How would you compare the leather to your vicenza, or to FQHH or regular steer if you can?

Here are some pics. I'm afraid it didn't fit her quite right, so it's going back tomorrow when I head over to Gala:

Compare to the other leathers, just two words : BUTTER SOFT!

It's as supple as lambskin but way tougher.

Great to see pics of the battered steer and it's a leather we almost don't ever discuss. I really like the looks of it and appears very "authentic" in a vintage styled jacket or vest.

Craig, getting a good fit from a number of various patterns is difficult for us but can imagine even more so for women. I do like the look of that jacket though and imagine Aero will be able to fine tune another based on how that one fits her.

I still reallyl ike the look of the Shackleton.... I've got a fair few jackets I want first, but I could see me in one of those, cut a little shorter and neat, to wear as a waistcoat type thing....

I bought one from the sale page a month or so ago in Battered FQHH which I’ve only seen in swatches before. It’s a very nice hide and soft from the off. Not sure what to call the garment really. It’s long for a waistcoat and more like a modern gilet in the way it's worn. I wear mine under a tweed jacket or slightly longer leather coat mostly, and will wear it by itself over a shirt and jumper when it’s warmer and stops raining. It’s a sort of luxury purchase really. Most of the time it’s unnecessary but it is nice to have.
