Worth checking with them but given the pattern now is there I don’t see why they wouldn’t make it if you ask. Another thing that I would check is how this new pattern differs from the premiere half belt.

I have a reg 1930’s in seal vicenza properly sized via Thurstons and do not feel there is any excessive bagginess. I’d guess the fqhh exaggerates some fit issues out of the box due to the initial lack of drape. Vicenza eleiminates this. I have a slim build and do nit find the sleeves or upperr back too baggy. The Picture below is after only a total of about 8 hours wear time. I am only wearing a t-shirt. There is room for light layering.

This might be a good case for dropping chest to waist size. That's what I did with my 50's HB and it retained the room through the chest and shoulders but eliminated the excess material at the lower back and waist. I went from 40" dropped to a 38". Something to consider as the HB pattern is somewhat boxy with the belts fully let out.

Question about the water treatment (cold water), will the CXl HH necessarily shrink after its air dried, or it’s possible it stays the same size? I want to wet it so I can stretch but don’t want it end up smaller after it’s fully dried. Thanks!!!

You can stretch it a touch too. As it’s drying, put it on a few times and do the “breaking in” dance.

I've washed many jackets in the machine with detergent and then let them air dry over several days in the shade. I have never had a sngle jacket shrink anywhere - whether it be FQHH, 3oz cowhide, 2.5oz steer, calf, goat or lambskin.
