Advice needed - Akubra Federation IV

I have been enjoying wearing my Heritage Fawn Fed IV to work. I think it looks good with blue suits but not so good with grey.

Obviously that means I need a second Fed IV, right??

But what colour? I don't think moonstone would look great with grey suits. How would brown look with grey?
I have several FED IVs and like them all,I suspect that you'll end up with more.If I was to make a choice to contrast with fawn,I'd suggest carbon gray.

I'll throw in another recommendation for Moonstone. It does have a hint of a bluish hue in certain lighting, but most of the time it's simply a neutral medium gray that I think goes well with grays, blues, and blacks. I can't say I'm a fan of mixing grays and browns, but that's only a matter of opinion. I suppose Carbon Gray would be a good second choice; I've never seen one in person, but I've read that it's so dark that it often looks black in subdued lighting.

I do like the moonstone. But the colour and cut edge brim make it look a but more casual than I would prefer. As anyone bound the edge in matching black ribbon?

I had it customized by Henry the Hatter in Detroit, a brim trim and new smaller ribbon. They made a mistake and cut the brim back a little too much, to about 2 1/4", and at first I didn't like it. But I think it's got a rather nice Thirties vibe to it now.

I second the gray hat/gray suit or jacket combo. They shouldn't match exactly, I feel, but as in the pic of Prof. Jones above, a contrast is cool . . . and you can liven up the combo with tie or shirt or handkerchief.

I think that looks great.

The shorter brim conforms nicely and make the crown appear all the more robust.
