By the by, I like the "West Bound B" from the Fall 17 line. 3 3/4 bound brim....like an old west hat almost. Reminds me a little of Bullock's hat from Deadwood.

There's a wool pork pie called the "Cranston," which seems a little on the nose.

I guess I'm not surprised a more vintage focus left with Deckard. This line doesn't look bad, just not my cup of tea necessarily. Makes sense if they're competing with the Goorins and Worth & Worths of the world, I suppose.

OK, so this wasn't a recent purchase, or you got it off eBay? This is not a modern Stetsonian. Looks like maybe 60s or 70s? Any photos of the sweatband markings?

Nice looking hat, though.

I realize that, but was asked for some shots. I think it's 70's. I bought it a couple of years ago off e bay because I wanted the hat box that came with it. When I got it, it looked as if it was never worn. It fit so I started wearing it and kept it in it's original box, and went on to pick up another box.

OK. Now I get it. I thought the Stetsonian thing was the liner tip, but it's the box. And that's the 60s Stetsonian font, as well.

If it's been discontinued, those are probably all anybody has in stock. I had to special order my Light Gray, even though it was a catalog color.

FED I think you'll be glad you did . The Stetsonian has a 6" Open Crown , 2 5/8" Brim , The New York has the 5 1/2" Open Crown , too low for me , anyway . That is a Bummer . I think the customer base on New Hats just mostly probably being Hipsters that have never worn Hats , and a Taller crown scares them . That's sad , I was hoping they would do what @tommyK said , and go back to the Good Old Days in Quality and Styles like Deckard was encouraging them to do , but ... . Disappointing . He really made a difference while he was there , too bad it looks like they didn't get it . Thus , Adios .

Thanks - these are exactly why I went with the Stetsonian now. Likely the last decent Stetson that I would be happy to wear.
