DJ, the color is the darker of the two. The jacket is J.Crew. The shirt is a John Smedley and good old Bills Khakis.
Marc, It is not soft but the crown is piable.
Dman,I too like the bow work however for my eye the ribbon is a tad wide.

Interesting that the sweatband says "Pliant-Eze". Seems to indicate that Adam made this hat softer than what the company usually offered.

Actually, I think the ribbon is a great width! (And the bow is amazing.) The ribbon probably seems wider than it is because of the deep side bashes -- if you made the top of the hat a bit fuller, the ribbon would recede. Maybe just pinched the front, for instance. Just a thought...

I thought about that Visigoth.I am enjoying the side pinches so I will not worry about the ribbon. It had a front pinch when it came but some how it just didn't look right to me.

This is a DeLuxe Quality hat so maybe it is of higher quality than their standerd line. I am not so well acquainted with Adam hats.
