The Macleod EFNY HH jacket sees some action tonight.

Very cool jacket, John! I had no idea you play the string bass... I'm a violinist myself... both acoustic and electric, and a singer as well.

It's nice to finally associate a face to your screen name, bro. :)

Cheers,
Navin

Hangin' out in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. Great 1950s horsehide Buco J-24 coupled with some fun Levi's LVC 1955-style jeans!

hi tommer45
after reading your other thread about planning to get a legendary horsehide, id like to say i couldn't feel more of a kin spirit! I once bought a black horse and a black stallion, when both were still with the fusible lining (but i didn't know that), they felt alll very stiff, i saved the black horse, sold the stallion. now, they said the fuxible lining is waht makes the horsehide feel like thick rubber, and the thing should feel more organic without the fuse, i really really want to get a wild stallion!!
i have a personal 'pet peeve' when picking a brando style jacket, cause you see, my brando style jacket fascination came about after watching the terminator movies, and one thing that made Arnold look so menacing in his T1 and T2 jacket, was the size of the lapels on his jackets! have you noticed? they both got very wide triangles, the snaps on tip of each triangle reaches all the way to the shoulder seam and they flap around like wings. Schott is original with the brando style, of course, unfortunately most schott's jackets have tiny weeny lapels (just to illustrate how important the lapel is to shape the character of the jacket, take a look at Marlon's the wild one jacket, even his Schott has got a wider lapel than the standard schott!!)

do you have any more photos of you in your wild stallion? i want to see how the lapel looks spreading open, is that's possible?

appreciate!!
by the way, i will be in new york in jan, are you from new jersey? any chance to make a friend?

Mojo has a fan, and an English Lass at that.

Hey, she's got great taste!

Here's one more good action shot! Gettin' ready to go out for one last session at Thunderhill...all sweaty and all after a day at speeds averaging well over 100 mph!

This is very Top Gun, but with a new generation bike rather than a first generation Kawasaki Ninja. We've come a long way. Great photograph.

I just posted this on the "Urban Boots Thread," but a fun "Top Gun" photo also...
