Hi.
I recently rediscovered this jacket that I'd had in storage for many years. I bought it from an old work colleague in 1992. He told me it was an A2 flying jacket bit didn't say when it was made. From what I can gather if it is a genuine A2 it has to have been manufactured post WW2 as it has handwarmer pockets which only post war jackets have. Can anyone possibly tell me anything about it? I really only have the remains of the label to go on but hopefully someone with some in depth knowledge might know more.

Even though some of the modern reissued A-2s have side pocket, yours is not one of those because A-2 even modern one does not have quilted lining as its specs is warmer weather jacket.
