A quick take on my Aero 1930's Halfbelt

Looks very nice there! I have one too, haven't been wearing it as much the past 2 years but it's a staple jacket, easy to wear for about any occassion. Picked mine up through Thurston Brothers in 2015. It had been a fit jacket so part of the break-in was already complete. Black Steerhide (heavy) with black cotton drill. Very simple, but I really like the leather on yours.

I've found it really versatile and practical and pretty much perfect for the application I had planned.

I would be interested in close-ups of the grain as the jacket breaks in. I do not recall having seen a truly broken in Badalassi jacket.

I will keep the thread updated as the jacket breaks in A lot of the shinyness has dissapeared and the grain is starting to show
