Just had to bump this thread.
While on my exercise bike today I watched the recent "Sturgis" episode (don't know how I'd get through my fitness routine without on-demand cable). If you have any doubts that those scenarios of theirs aren't "real," that episode ought to put 'em to rest.
Let's see, Frank doesn't feel up to going on a picking expedition, so Mike tells Danielle to pack her bags. But Frank's real motive is that he wishes to ride his bike to the Sturgis rally, for the 30th time in as many years. So Mike and Danielle hit the road and for some reason totally unbeknownst to them they can't raise Frank -- not on the shop phone, not on his cell. Hmmm. But over breakfast it just occurs to Danielle that it being August 8, Frank must be in Sturgis, and we just happen to be in South Dakota at the moment so let's drive the few miles to Sturgis and bust Frank.
