A Nifty Tweed Walking Suit c. 1910-1915

Thought some of you might like this vintage photo. I'd kill for a suit like that! (OK, maybe not kill, but I'd consider maiming...). I also like his rather flamboyant bowtie. I've been trying to figure out exactly what it is and how it's tied. That checkered newsboy cap ain't bad either. All in all, a great look.

That is a nice looking suit, but I just can't see myself wearing puttees in any setting besides walking the bogs.

Have you looked at Bookster? Peter's shooting jacket & breeks would be fairly close to that, he can do a cap for you in a matching tweed as well. His vintage site is certainly worth a look as well.

I've been a happy customer of Peter's for quite some time, I just commissioned a new suit and I'm also going to purchase one of his new Chesterfields. He and Michele are terrific folks, I'm happy to see their business growing.
