A gray Dobbs Fifteen, lucky #3.

They say good things come in three. Here is my third entry with the Dobbs brand.
Guild edge, 2 6/8ths inch brim, and a crown of just under 5".

This picture reflects the color most accurately.

It fits perfect. I would like to bring this to the QM but am limited to one or two hats and cannot decide what to bring.

I have two dobbs twenty hats. one is from the 40's (early i think) and the other one is from the 50's.

The earlier hat has very dense felt and is so soft, with a 6 inch crown and only 2.5 inch brim. The later hat has a lower crown and wider brim. The felt, however is more crisp, which i think is due to stiffener. But it "melts" when i steamed the hat.

Ferraud, does your #3 have the dobbs logo without the horse carriage on the sweatband?

GREAT...now I'll have to replace another keyboard. Drool is really tough on them!! lol
