A day with the Tudors

Hey folks, I worked on the Tudors set today. I was playing a "Northern Nobleman" and was also a stand in for a character called Culpepper, who addresses King Henry VIII (Johnathan Rhys Myers).

It was great fun and the costumes were fun to wear. I didn't get a chance to take photos (it's not right to do it on set). But I did get one. I also wore a cloak over this suit (not shown in the picture).

There was a disabled young girl in a wheelchair who visited the set and JRM spent ages with her, wheeling her around the lot and the various stages. I thought this was very nice if him.

Note to Matt Deckard - the armholes were very - very - high. And the coat was more difficult to get on. But when it was on it was posture enhancing and very comfortable! And YES I am wearing tights underneath the boots. lol

By the way you'd never guess that those boots were perfect for storing my iphone and billfold throughout the day!
