The best size to be if you want a lightly used high-end repro is 42. There are quite a few out there and not so much competition.

Most of the repros on the second hand market in the UK these days seem to be Aero and ELC. I do sometimes wonder if that is folks selling them off to buy a GW (or latterly a BK - they do seem to get the nod for a high level of accuracy second only to GW). Heh. Good for me, though- I have one of each, bought used in great condition at a significant saving on the new price. I do have my eye on a BK in russet - probably the house model, though if the right one came along used, I wouldn't care much which it was.
