A-2 ID Help needed

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me ID this old A-2 leather jacket. It is missing its tags and the previous owner told me they had the collar altered (it was a lot larger before). It has an ACME zipper, brass zipper track and snaps.

It isn't technically an A2. It's in that style, but the owner is representing it correctly as a much later jacket. It could be by any number of manufacturers. It seems to have a "belted" back detail and bi-swing shoulders. A mishmash. $89 may be a little steep.
