Hello all, neverhatless here. No I'm not a troll, I used to go by "MannySpaghetti" on these boards, but killed my Comcast account just recently and lost access. If the name doesn't ring a bell, perhaps "My trip to the Merrimac Hat Museum" will. Anyways, I just listed one of my greater acquisitons on ebaY tonight. Though I was quite reluctant because it's just such a great lid to hold and look at(I wore it once two years ago), it has to go. I'm posting here, because well, I KNOW how much you folks cherish your hats amongst other things and I'd like to see it acquired by a lounger. At least then I'd know that it would well taken care of just as I have cared for it these past 2+ years. Dang, am I getting sappy?! At the end of the day however, it all comes down to the coin. With prices spiking and a wife that likes to go on trips and shop, I gotta play catch up. If I'm lucky and do sell it, it'll help me along some. So without further ado, here's the lid, box and ad in the ebaY Listing.

Nice hat. I was watching it to see if anyone would buy it at that price. Ebay's an interesting place to sell. I've noticed that when the starting price is fairly high people shy away and won't bid and the item will not sell. But if it's lower they will bid and end up paying more than the previous high starting price. Just a thought to consider if it ends up not selling again.

That's a psychological strategy which many sellers are too nervous to use during this recession.

I love that Flagship. But $225 is a bit much for me. I'd certainly go up to $180, but $225 is just too much.
