7-1/8 Open Road Anyone?

Too big for me. Nice hat but not perfect. Some moth nips around back half of crown and under brim. Faint evidence of original western crown shape at top. Also, Ted smokes - but hasn't been wearing the hat and this hat has only been around here for a couple of weeks. I've taken to keeping it bagged up. No actual hat box but I'd pack well for shipping. I paid $60+Shipping. Interested? Money is good. Trade considered too. Post here (although sometimes I get busy and a few days pass before I get to the lounge) or email me direct. TonyB - As a matter of fact that was me - if you are refering to the one with the upturned brim and open crown in the auction photo. I think that may have thrown off some uninitiated hat purchasers but I see great things for that one when it arrives.

Yeah, me too. I was pleasantly surprised to see that auction top out at sub-stratospheric levels. It looks like a real good deal, even for a smallish size.

Hey Warbird -
The color I call cream. Probably fawn, or mist, or some such fancy designation in real Stetson lingo. The photos are real accurate. Not grey or brown/tan. Just a very light beige. Pretty. I wish it fit me.

The size just might work for you. Although it's marked 7-1/8 it actually runs larger. It measures exactly 22-9/16" inside circumference. Just a tick over 22-1/2". A 7-1/8 is supposed to be 22-1/4" so this hat being larger than that might do well on your head.

I'm out $70 on it counting shipping costs. I'd do with getting $50 of it back and I'd cover shipping. Hat looks good on and the flaws (moth nips in pictures) don't show from the front or from a couple of paces - but I think I paid a little too much considering its actual condition and want to be fair with fellow loungers.
