689HH break in process.

And nylon lining is becoming detached from armhole where the biswing panel is located.

Checking the core internal stitching is still in place.

Should this be a cause of concern?

If it irritates you, have it repaired. Jacket itself looks good.

I have jackets that I have worn hard for years and I have never had one come apart like that. I would reach out to Schott and request a repair or exchange.

I would get it repaired now, they should take a look at it. If that’s six months’ wear, I’d say you need another year or so to break it in.

If you are concerned, repair the lining. It may even replace it with a more durable material.

Material failure. It happens. Simple though possibly visible repair, no need for lining replacement. I wouldn't bother sending this back but if Schott can do it for free, shipping covered both ways, then why not.

Mine didn't come apart after 6 months but I did sell it 6 months in because the leather was way too stiff for my liking and the wind flap drove me nuts.

You can see the fraying is about to get worst on either side of the hole, the fabric has been stretched to crap.
Have you been doing pushups in your leather jacket or crazy things like that?
