The felt is wonderfully soft, lightweight and malleable

Crown - a hair over 5 1/2 ... big full crown as you can see in photos

Brim - a hair under 2 1/2

the sweatband is in perfect condition ... still moist and flexible

hat is CLEAN

box is in great shape and is sturdy ... with insert

The colour on my tablet comes through as a light gray, a dove gray, is that accurate?

it is a very difficult color to describe ... it is grey ... it is taupe ... it is beautiful

the most accurate photo of the color is probably the first picture of the underside

it almost ever so slightly has like a purple-ish tone in some lights ... really great

and the felt rivals some of the best hats I own

Great hat! Could you please provide circumference of sweatband in inches as well as long axis and short axis of opening? This will give a better idea of fit since vintage hats seem to vary size-wise. Thanks!
