40s Monarch HH civil flight jacket

This Monarch came in excellent condition, the steerhide is the thick kind. Original lining was soiled so I had Johnson relined with satin quilt in a purple-ish color, very nice. Pockets are new to. I sent Johnson a NOS brass Talon for front zipper. It’s tagged 40, and fits me like a second skin but I can use two more inches at chest. Typical to Monarch, French seams throughout.

perfect for a 38 or 40 chest. Forgot to mention, all knits are new too

Reg, are you sure it's NOS Talon? Looks more like a repro Talon. All-in-all nice jacket, tempting.

yep, it's a NOS with an arrow head. It'snot hard to come by actually, this ain't 30s Talon!
