30's Crofut & Knapp

Here is a hat that deserves its own thread. Got it just over a year ago on the bay and its a beauty! Reminds me alot of Art's Jazzman with the same color scheme too! From the 30's I'm guessing. I need a Thompson sub machine gun and a nice old Packard to drive with it....dont forget the pinstripe suit to boot!

An amazing hat. Not a fan of the extreme pinch, but that's personal taste, and doesn't detract from the hat.

Is there a style name on or beneath the sweatband? I don't think I see one on the liner.

The leather sweatband is stamped "Felted Welt Edge, Patented Feb 25, 1913" and printed on the other side is "Knapp-Felt Twenty"

Absolutely fantastic hat, Garrett. I watched that auction, saved the photos from it, and probably even bid on it, but I don't remember. Those older C&Ks don't come up very often. You've got a great hat there!
