3 piece double-breasted suit with belted back

Looks to me like from the late 30's? I love the shapely lapels on the jacket, though the black color counts against it, in my opinion. Two days on ebay and already the bidding frenzy is in full force.

That would almost certainly fit me. But I don't think I could pull off a double-breasted 3-piece...
