I met my friend Mike Moore of Buckaroo Hatters for dinner tonight... and guess what???
He had me a few surprises on hand!!!
The first up is a hat we named "The Harvester".

A sweet 100% beaver in grey with a burgandy band. I told Mike I wanted another 'everyman' type hat. One that a farmer would wear to the field on Saturday morning, and dust off and wear to town on Saturday night.
I left all the details up to Mike except the color, I wanted a grey fedora. Crease, ribbon and ribbon color were all up to the maker.
I was more than happy weith the results, when I got home with it my wife said "I believe that is the prettiest hat you have ever owned.

The next one was one I had him work on for awhile, I call it "The 1912" it is based on the hat worn by the character 'Fedora' in the movie The Last Crusade'. Crusade fans will know where the 1912 comes from. A brown 100% beaver. That I am sure will hold up well to my planned use!

And this number Mike came up with is a sweet black fedora with a silver/grey ribbon. Its made in the dress western weight.
