1st time new ribbon

I have a PB San Juan Panama that I bought in April. Love the hat, didn't like the leather band.
I went by one of the fabric stores today and purchased a yard of ribbon to redo the hat. I spent about an hour and a half working on it. It's not perfect but I like the look much better.

Thanks Guys. One problem I had is getting the robbon low enough to cover the stitching from the sweat band. I thought I had it coveredbut when I finished there it was:eusa_doh: . I pulled it down and restitched, but there it was again:eusa_doh: .

Any thoughts on how to get this right?

I used 1.5 inch wide. Of the yard I purchased I have 1 inch left over. Good luck to you!
