nice suit.

that seller also has a beautiful CC41 DB belted overcoat in mint, possibly deadstock condition which has been on ebay for ages.
one of the nicest examples i've ever seen. too big for me or i would have bought it long ago even at it's very high buy it now price.

I saw that on ebay and thought about posting it. However, I decided against it on the grounds that i really, really dislike seersucker. It's a personal thing, that is probably some deep-seated memory of someone, somewhere wearing it and my not liking them. Probably totally irrational (like my dislike of the coloured shirt/white collar combination which is based on people like David Steel wearing them in the 1980s. Even when i see that look and think 'that looks good' I still know I would never wear one).
