1966 Gillette Super Speed Vacation Travel Kit

This cased set, marked L1 for first quarter of 1966, is in exceptionally nice condition. Plating is excellent bright and shiny with no brassing. The case is also quite nice with only the minor scratches commensurate with age. The Sunup Aftershave bottle is empty, and although I wouldn't recommend using them the hair cream, deodorant and shaving cream appear to be full. The Gillette Super Stainless Steel blades are another story. These are exceptionally fine blades and I absolutely WOULD recommend trying them.

Yeah, it's a pretty sweet set. I was not yet alive when it was made, but I appreciate the nice sets Gillette put together in the 1960s, and it's really cool to see some of them still intact.
