50’s era Monarch half belt in near mint condition. I’ve owned this jacket for a little while, and decided it’s not quite me. The horse hide has zero blemishes, looks as if it was rarely worn. The dark green quilted lining has no rips or fraying, there is a small seam opening at the sleeve to body seam, which would be an easy repair. I had David Sheeley lengthen the sleeves to 26”. David did a wonderful job by using the available leather that was folded into the cuff. The original lining was sewn to the new hem line. No extra material was needed, and can be reversed. The Talon zipper looks to be tarnished a bit, but works well.

These old Monarchs are really wonderfully made with all French seams, and thick soft hides. This one’s a bit of a time capsule that shows the workmanship of that era well. I’m asking $550 shipped the the lower 48. Please ask any further questions.
