This is an authentic 1950’s Indian Ranger. Excellent condition. No rips, no tears. All original zippers and snaps. Original red quilted liner without tears or holes. This is a must have for the serious collector. Fits like a small or a tight medium. Measurements upon request. Nice patina inside and out. Will ship for free. Asking 2500 OBO.

Very cool jacket, but I don't think it's a Ranger- the little coin pocket is different, yours doesn't have the zips on top of the sleeves, and the back didn't have a kidney panel. Probably best to ask the membership their opinions.
I'm not saying this jacket isn't valuable... on the contrary, here's another one for sale for more than your ask:

Good evening. This has been verified and published as such in Rin Tanaka’s book Motorcycle Jackets: a Century of Design. He’s considered to be an expert in the field. There were some variations from year to year.

To my knowledge in this era Indian produced only one style jacket. The Ranger for men, the Rangerette for women. However, I’m open to being educated on the matter.

My apologies if I’m wrong.
I’m no expert on these. There are a few members who know quite a lot about various Moto jackets in the Outerwear forum. Please don’t let my comments discourage you from participating beyond this sale.

I'm no expert either and I'm sure there's variations, but when I think Indian Ranger, I'm thinking mismatched hardware, red/black checkered lining, etc. Good news is there's plenty people on here that can chime in. Nice looking jacket in any case.

Yes, that is the quintessential image of a Ranger. That’s because the most common is the Aero leather Ranger version with mismatched hardware and plaid liner. That’s all most people have ever seen. Very few examples of genuine Indian Jackets out there.

Meanwhile, you may enjoy this thread -- pretty informative how Aero did thier reproduction based a lot off one FL member's IR:

Dan,
What are the measurements?
Around here, we generally list pit to pit, shoulders, sleeve length, back length, hem width, etc.
Some people even post photos of the measurements with the soft tape-measure in it. Anyway, it would be nice to know.

Pit to pit 19.5 inches, shoulder to shoulder 18 inches, sleeve length 24.5 inches, back length 28 inches. Quit honestly I envisioned it going to a collector, however, it certainly can be worn.

And yes, it has the detachable collar extender under the back of the collar for cold weather protection
