Rare Size 40 Long! Dated, 'Sept 3, 1946'. Unfortunately way too long for me.
Typical 1930's - 1940's tailoring. High-waist trousers with straight wide legs.
Three-button single-breasted Front with wide notched lapels.
Heathered medium-grey wool cloth with blue and cream stripes.
Dense, sturdy pure wool cloth.
Talon Steel Zipper.
Measurements:
21.5" Chest, underarm to underarm
19.25" Shoulder to shoulder.
20" Jacket waist (at middle button), side to side
26.5" Sleeve, shoulder to cuff (can be let out by 2 inches)
32.25" Back, collar bottom to hem
Trousers 36"+ Waist
34" Inseam. 45" overall length. 2 inches to let out.
Good condition with minor wear. Two mended microscopic pin-point holes on back.
This suit will serve you well for a long time, as it is sturdy, comfortable and elegant at the same time!
