3. General experience indicates that "husky" girls - those who are just a little on the heavy side - are more even tempered and efficient than their underweight sisters.

No wonder this list goes to ELEVEN! Spinal Tap picked groupies the same way!

This is interesting. I saw the referance to the article today I believe on whatchamacallit dot com (I'll edit tomorow). It was FARK.COM., They were quoting from yesbutnoibutyes, who published it again yesterday. Nothing like pulling old news out of the freezer and serving it up as if it was brand new. The guidelines are not totally egregious. There's some common sense and considerateness mixed in there, don't you think, ladies?

At the risk of being pelted with overripe fruit, I'll venture that not everything on that list is a terrible idea. 8-11 have some valid points tucked in. For that matter, #11 is *still* an issue! (Note to people who buy logo tees: Please spring for the women's sizes and don't expect every woman from 5'2" to 5'8" to wear the same "unisex" size S-M!)

I'll stand up to be pelted with you. ;) And 11 is a terrific point! It goes not only for t-shirts, but for polos. You know they actually make women-sized polos? Not only is the shoulder width adjusted, but the sleeves aren't huge and sloppy. It makes a huge difference in look, not to mention feel.

i concur... and not just in the workplace but heaps of other places as well... just for the record - not all guide leaders are hideously overweight...when we want Small or medium polos, we actually mean small or medium ones...not huge night shirts...

No.7 says women are happier with change. Are they happier now?

I'm pretty happy. I don't think I'd of been very happy 70 years ago with the sexism. As much as I love the Golden Era, there's some things that should be kept in the past.
