1940's Whippet 6 7/8 - 7

Here is a whippet in need of TLC

You'll need a new sweatband but it was originally a 6 7/8 - currently is 22" circumference without the band.

Grey

2 1/2" Bound brim

1 5/8" Steel grey ribbon

4 1/2" Crown

I like the hat but what's that wrinkly looking spot at the top front of the crown, right between the side pinches? From here it looks as if there's a tear in the felt...
