Here's what I believe is a late 1940's/early 1950's Royal Stetson. It's a really cool hat with a very dark brown color, only problem is it needs a really good cleaning. Rolled edge with 3 rows of stitching, grosgrain ribbon has darkened in a few spots, from what I'm assuming is probably hair tonic of the previous owner.

Marked 7 1/8 but fits like a comfortable 7 1/4. Brim is 2 1/2", crown is about 5 3/4" unbashed. Sweatband is a wide 2," still very soft and supple but has something on it that will probably come off.

Plus side is I can find absolutely no holes and no mothing. This is a great fixer-upper!

What's a fair price to you? Don't be shy to make me an offer!

Plastic liner tip I'd say 50's. Is that a waffle brim edge? Could you provide better picture?

I wasn't sure, I thought the wide sweatband dated it earlier, maybe to the early 50's?

The edge is rolled up and has 3 rows of stitching...my camera isn't that great.
