Nice jacket

So Paddy,
I take it the jacket arrived safely? ;) ;)

Did you check the glove pocket? I left the trinket in there that I found when I bought the jacket.

Yes, and YES!! You know what it is..? It's a fob for a watch chain (nice little touch). I'm going to glue the little ship back into its' place.

The jacket's come up nice hasn't it ;) I just gave it a little bit of TLC with my special juice and it looks GREAT. The zip pull at some time has been changed (I'd imagine the other one broke or came off), but I have a nice spare 'period' Talon one that will fit nicely. Don't see the point in changing the whole zip, as I've just about 'got the knack' now of feeding it through. All-in-All you've done me a GREAT deal on this and it's a cracking little jacket.

Can you hear the sound of folk kicking themselves...? ;)

Yes, the pocket flaps do 'add' to it.

Yes, the pocket flaps are somewhat unusual and very fetching. Also unusual and equally attractive (I find) are the parrallel (rather than tapered) sleeve adjusters. Very nice features.

I like the tapering of the jacket into the waist (so often associated these days with a female 'cut' ) which just adds to the 'dress' of it. The lining is a rayon type lining.
