Ah! Those are the coolest things I have seen all day, thanks!

I totally want to drive around with Elizabeth. (Though that might be a little disturbing since we have the same name and look like we could be sisters. Maybe I should pal around with Ruth instead.)

That is funny...

I think I would hang with Violet. I think her and I could get into some mischief together! Of course I would let her take the down fall. :)

As a newcomer to this group, I still haven't figured out why some of us use actual personal images, and some have period or film shots. What's the deep and meaningful reason for this dichotomy...

I think avatars can be whatever you want... I personally like putting a face to the name, so I use a picture of myself! Maybe others arent as comfortable using a photo of themselves, so they use a photo of their favorite golden era persona, or maybe a movie still, or whatever tickles their fancy. I dont think there are any rules about avatars, except for the usual regarding decency and whatnot.

I absolutely love those mug shots of the ladies! They look like the kind of women who you wouldnt want to scrap with... yikes!

Yikes, indeed. They look mighty scabby. I apologize in advance to anyone who recognizes their mother or grandmother in the line-up.

Avatars.

I like to use the animated kind, but you can't here. So, I will probably change mine a lot because I get sick of seeing the same picture. I like to use pictures of people or things in relation to my interests. I guess I just think a picture of myself would be boring, I love art and always see pictures that I feel express me or bring back memories. For example the "Hit the Deck" avatar I have now reminds me of mopping (and slippinglol) in the military. There is a lot of mopping to do, so we made the best (and craziest) time out of it we could. Wouldn't you want to join her? It is really a post card. My avatar will be changing soon because I found a lot of Nose Art that I like.

However, I do enjoy seeing real people in the avatars on The Fedora Lounge because of the style. But I don't have any glamorous pictures of myself, actually I don't have any current pictures of myself because I am always the one taking the pictures. I guess I could take a picture of myself:eusa_doh:? We'll see how that turns out.

Agree... I like to know the face behind the name. :) Especially if they are done up in the vintage stylings.

They looked innocent enough, but when Lolita and Violet went on a crime spree, no bank or heart was safe. Under the guise of blonde curls and pink bows they found the easiest way to live the glamorous life was to live life fast and smile. Nothing could stop these two... except for the one detective that both had fallen for. Would they turn over a new leaf or turn on each other for the man that wants to turn them in?
